Biscuits and Berries is a leading catering company in the Denver Metro known for serving delicious from scratch meals and top-quality catering services.
As a company that continually delivers innovative ideas, Biscuits and Berries came to AOR knowing this aspect of their business (as well as their high standards and exceptional service) was not reflected in their current brand. They needed a top-to-bottom refresh that would reflect who they are currently (name and all) and also take them into the future.
To begin the project, the AOR team guided Biscuits and Berries through our Discovery process which included a full-day session with the Biscuits and Berries staff and founder. We led their team through a variety of exercises geared towards messaging, visuals, and web design that informed our next project phases: creating a new brand identity and developing their website.
It was clear their current brand was outdated and slightly difficult to work with, but to our excitement, the Biscuits and Berries team was willing and ready to start fresh. They wanted a color palette and visual look & feel that would reflect what customers should expect at their events, and that could be carried throughout the website.
2 Tbsps of Heart
We started by establishing a messaging platform around heart and their love of food and community — all of which were already so deeply ingrained in who they were, but through a refresh, we were able to pull it out from behind the curtain and share it with the world.
4 Cups of Blueberries
Once we laid the groundwork for who Biscuits and Berries is, we were able to develop a logo and color palette to match. Our first move? Swap the original strawberry with a much more fitting blueberry accompanied by a palette of deep purples and organic greens and creams.
AOR delivered Biscuits and Berries an updated, modern, and fully-baked brand identity and website that better reflects who they are as a company and will ultimately take them into the future. This new identity allows Biscuits and Berries to share their mission and values with their customers and also makes them stand out within their competitive industry.
The team at Biscuits and Berries was so excited about the work that they have fully integrated it into their social media channels and used it to inspire new collateral materials and menus used in response to COVID-19 and delivery during quarantine.
